Many thanks to the Johnson County Youth Coalition for their continued support of the Oark Clothing Swap! We are so thankful for their donations and assistance!
Great day with Krista Denne (Programming Librarian at Johnson County Public Library & First Presbyterian Pastor) & Brian Kendall (Community Resources Coordinator for the Arkansas River Valley Regional Library Ststem) visiting Oark Schools! Pictured in one of my 4 favorite clothing closets! So many good people make this happen

Congrats to Braedyn Willis on receiving the Governors Award! This is a huge accomplishment. We are so proud!

Our next big thank you is to Sheriff Jimmy Stephens and all of the officers who came and volunteered at our Oark Family Fun Field Day!!! They led stations and interacted with all of our students and staff. We are so thankful for them taking time out of their busy schedules to serve our school and community! Our kids were so excited that you all came! THANK YOU!

This past week was our transition week in Elementary STING! Our students visited their teachers for next year.
2nd grade had a blast doing some directed drawings to practice self control and listening skills!
First grade used teamwork and communication to make monsters!
All of our students enjoyed visiting their future teacher!

Mrs. Sondy's Animal Science classes tested out the small animal working pen by sending Gerbil, the goat, through the system. Gerbil is a bottle goat that the students have helped raise this spring.
