Board Meeting Date Change Notice

The Jasper School District Board of Education meeting originally scheduled for Monday, October 19, 2026, has been rescheduled for Monday, October 26, 2026, at 6:30 pm.

The meeting will be held in the Jasper campus library. All are welcome!

Fall Break is from October 16th- October 20th. Students will return on October 21st.

Socktober at Jasper High School!

The Jasper High School Beta Club is collecting new socks to donate to the residents of Countryside Health & Rehab Center of Newton County!

We’re asking our students and community members to help us spread a little warmth this October by donating new socks. Every donation, big or small, will help us brighten the day of a local resident!

Socks may be dropped off at the Jasper High School office or in the donation box located in the front lobby.

Thank you for supporting our Beta Club and helping us give back to our community!

A reminder that school will dismiss on Thursday at 2:30. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be from 3-7:00pm.

The Jasper School District Board Meeting scheduled for September 21, 2026, at Oark School has been rescheduled to Monday, September 28, 2026, at Oark School at 6:30 PM.

Notice of Location Change for Tonight’s JSD School Board Meeting
Please be advised that the location for tonight’s Jasper School District Board Meeting has been changed. The meeting will now take place in the Jasper FACS Room instead of the school library, due to floor refinishing. The meeting will begin at its regularly scheduled time of 6:30 PM.

The JSD School Board meeting scheduled for Monday, April 21, 2025, will begin at 6:00 pm instead of 6:30 p.m.

JSD Closed Monday for Labor Day The Jasper School District will not be in session on Monday, Sept. 2, 2024, in observance of Labor Day! JSD will resume its regular schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024.

The JSD School Board will hold a special board meeting on Thursday, August 29, 2024, starting at 5:00 pm on the Jasper Campus.

The JSD Board of Directors is moving the April board meeting from Monday, April 15th to Tuesday, April 23.

The JSD Board of Directors will hold the March board meeting on Tuesday, March 12th, beginning at 5:30 pm.

Good morning. This is Margie Rutledge with the Jasper SD. JSD will have a 10::00 delayed start this morning on all campuses. Bus routes will run 2 hours after normal time.
