Welcome home Mrs. Fowler!
We have been fortunate enough to receive the No Kid hungry/Share your Strength and Save the Children Food Grants through the Feeding One Another Program that will provide 120 boxes of food each week to help out with the rising cost of groceries for our students. Please respond to the green food box flyer in your child's homework folder if you are interested in receiving a box of food and send it back to school in your child's homework folder. Ms. Phillips will pick these up from the homeroom teachers. High School students will be given these forms to give to you or you may send an email to joei.phillips@jasper.k12.ar.us or call Ms. Kim to be added to the food list. High School will return the green forms to Ms. Phillips or Ms. Kim. We will try to get these home to you on Thursdays. If at any time you wish to discontinue receiving the boxes, simply call Ms. Kim at the front desk. Currently the boxes include a jar of peanut butter, 4 cans tuna, two pasta items with sauce, four canned veggies, two cans fruit, 1 applesauce, 1 soup, 1 bag of beans, 1 rice, 1 pancake mix, 1 canned beans, 1 oatmeal and 1 box of milk. We hope this helps someone out! The list will remain discreet, the first 120 people to respond will receive the boxes. Thanks, have a great day!

Kindergarten had a great first week of school! We finished the week with “Going on a Bear Hunt”. The book came to life as the students took a bear hunt around campus. We ended the fun with a bear themed snack!
