Jasper Senior High Choir competed for the first time at Choral Performance Assessment (CPA) on February 21 in Springdale. The Choir received a II on sight reading and a III on their concert pieces, Rise Up in Festive Song and Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning. With a I being superior, students received an "excellent" rating on sight reading music they had never seen before. The students have been working on their sight reading skills all year and performed well. One of the judges commented, "I am so pleased to hear the 1st choir from Jasper in my 45 years of judging CPA." Students from left to right are: Back row: Jackson Clark, Josh Taylor, Drew Hankins.
