Jasper School District AMI packets/Meal Service

We would like to once again share several updates and a few reminders in regards to our COVID-19 Plan. Thank you to all of our staff, our students, and our parents. Each of you are doing your part to ensure that we are providing for our kids. Thank you very much! This is exactly what it means to be a community.

Student AMI Packets:

While we wish our students were back in our campuses and back in our classrooms learning the way we are all accustomed to, we know we must keep our focus on staying safe and healthy during this nationwide pandemic. Today, the Governor announced a closure of all on-site instruction through the end of the year. We will continue with the AMI plans made available to your child through Monday, April 13th. This Friday, April 10th is Good Friday. As originally planned, school will not be in session on Friday. We encourage you to take the day off, relax, and enjoy your family. Starting on Tuesday, April 14th, all AMI will be moved to the online format. For elementary students, your AMI material is being provided through PBS. High School students will be receiving an email with instructions on how to access their coursework that will begin on Tuesday, 4/14 later this week. As always, please email or communicate with your child's teacher with any questions that arise. Teachers and administrators are both available to help and provide support.

Meal Service:

We will continue to provide free meal service to anyone 18 years old and younger during the school closure period. Meal pickup and delivery will remain on Tuesday and Thursdays. Meals may be picked up on each campus from 8am-10am. The delivery service will continue to be provided with the same pickup points as before. The delivery time to the pickup points will continue to be the same on all campuses and delivery will leave the school at 10:00am. There is no need to sign up for the meal service again if you have previously enrolled. If you have not been receiving meals and would like to or if you would like to stop receiving meals, please call your school office between the hours of 9am and 1pm on the day prior to the delivery or pickup.

Chromebooks will be available for pick up on each campus from 8am-10am tomorrow, April 7th. If you are signed up for meal delivery and ask for a chromebook, it will be coming with your meals.

All campuses will have limited staff most days as we continue to practice social distancing per CDC guidance. Everyone entering our buildings are screened and required to take precautions for everyone's health and safety. Staff remains available to answer questions by phone or email. If you have questions or concerns, you may contact your child's teacher, school office or the district office. We will continue to update you as new information becomes available. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. We will get through this together! Stay safe and healthy!
